AMANDA WEST

Amanda West is the co-founder and CEO of Seed Here Studio, a community building agency focused on innovation ecosystems in unexpected places. Her work uses media, events and programs as levers to foster more collaborative regions fueled by entrepreneurship. Based in Iowa, she has co-founded 10+ community building initiatives including a coworking space, a startup accelerator, a social entrepreneur incubator, and many events, festivals and programs. She is the outgoing executive director of Iowa’s 1000-person entrepreneur conference, EntreFEST -- an event that has doubled in the size the past three years.

From 2012-2014, Amanda designed and led the implementation of a new regional brand, Iowa’s Creative Corridor, for the seven county area surrounding Iowa City and Cedar Rapids. Amanda earned her degree in economics at the University of Iowa. While in college she co-founded a non-profit social entrepreneur incubator and launched a student engagement program called The 10,000 Hours Show (10K). 10K was acquired and expanded by United Way Worldwide after its fourth year of operations. After college, Amanda worked with creative class expert Richard Florida and the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation to support mid-size cities using creative community building efforts to foster more homegrown economic development. Today, Amanda works around the nation supporting emerging innovation ecosystems with global thought leaders including Steve Case and Paul Allen.

ClinT NElson

Entrepreneur. Investor. Ecommerce. Marketplaces. Product management. Events. Throughout my career I've been deeply involved in building ecommerce platforms and events. Partners and clients include: Facebook, Google, Microsoft, Martha Stewart, Marco Rubio, Github, Amazon, and many others.


From his role as a Co Founder at Startup Weekend, where he helped to produce 1,200+ events in 600 cities spanning 127 countries to Massivo where he mastered producing large events and festivals with 5,000 - 10,000 attendees. In total Clint's organized events that have brought in more than 500,000 total attendees on a global scale.

Currently he is working on solving many of my own problems relating to the platforms used to manage ticketing, selling tickets, dealing with high email volume, finding venues, & producing events on a global scale.

Clint is passionate about startups and technology. He regularly serves as a lecturer on entrepreneurship & startups at universities such as Stanford. Currently, Clint and Kathleen Kennedy serve as the two board members on "The Common Good" in the U.S. He is featured in many publications around the world including the New York Times, Forbes and the Wall Street Journal. Formerly based in Seattle, Clint is a pilot, enjoys mountain biking, snowboarding, camping, and photography.
